2024 Lexus GX550: How Does It Look?

2024 Lexus GX550

A Report Reveals that Toyota filed trademark application materials for the GX550 moniker, suggesting that the upgrade will likely apply to the U.S. model.

Although this confirms the 550 trim is tied to the U.S., the document does not mention when the GX550 will debut.

The trademark filed by Toyota indicates the GX550 is inside the card. This is expected to increase both power outputs while reducing fuel use; the LX’s twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 (409 hp and 479 lb-ft) may appear soon.

As a reminder, the 2023 G.X. receives permanent four-wheel drive and ships standard with a full suite of technologies.

Luxury trim is available with the Lexus+ Safety System if you need more capabilities. These include Lane Departure Alerts, Intelligent High Beams, Pedestrian Detection, and more.

On the exterior, the GX 550 is carried in the style of a box and a controversial Spindle grille, but the color palette has been revised.

Starfire Pearl has been replaced by Eminent White Pearl, while Claret Mica has been eliminated. Inside, changes have also been minimized.

Those who opt for the highest Luxury trim ($68,230) will be pleased to know the Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound system has come standard.

Based on the Premium class, the Black Line receives some excellent features, including a Panoramic View Monitor that will come in handy in parking lots and crossing complicated off-road trails.

Those who choose the Black Line SE can choose from the Eminent, as mentioned earlier, White Pearl or Nori Green Pearl, which are exclusive to the Black Line models.

The limited-running model distinguishes itself from the pack with a subtle refinement of the style.

The 18-inch alloy wheels painted black underscore an aggressive personality aided by dark fog lights, skid plates, and grille accents.

Elsewhere, Black Lines avoid Premium chrome prints for black trim. There is a black painted roof spoiler and clear taillights as well.

The innards are the same, except for the new Boulder Grey NuLuxe-trimmed seats and the black headliner. The interior is also raised with grey stitching and Black Matt Ash Wood on the steering wheel.

2024 Lexus GX550 Price

Prices for the GX 550 range start at $57,575, which is excellent value considering the luxury and off-road capability on offer.
