2024 Lexus LX 600: Luxury SUV With Tough Off-Road Capability

2024 Lexus LX 600

The 2024 Lexus LX 600’s design is likely to stay the same. It will still have the aggressive look of a large SUV, with a prominent grille, pointed daytime running lights, and a rounded front end.

The high height of the mount and its boxy shape prove its superb off-road capability. The cover taillights, proper form, and two bumper-mounted drains characterize the rear of the SUV.

The New Lexus LX 600 will compete with the Cadillac Escalade, Land Rover Range Rover, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, BMW X7, and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Lexus LX 600 Engine

The 2024 LX 600 shares its chassis with Toyota Tundra trucks and Sequoia SUVs, although the LX 600 is lighter.

The LX 600 retains a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering 409 horsepower via a standard 10-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the Tundra and Sequoia, the 2024 Lexus LX 600 has the same parts as the Toyota Land Cruiser, which is available elsewhere but not in the United States. It thus has a suspension designed explicitly for significant on-road capability and off-road travel.

There are a large number of off-road-focused technologies that complement the engine. These include Active Height Control, Adaptive Variable Suspension, and the latest edition of the Multi-Terrain Select system.

This compelling blend allows the LX 600 to become a capable off-road SUV and take its passengers beyond the open.

2024 Lexus LX 600 Interior

For the 2024 model year, Lexus is expected to modify the interior design of the LX.

The dashboard of this SUV is simple, and the center console is divided into two parts, with a large touchscreen perched on top of a smaller touchscreen. The center console keeps physical control to a minimum for a less cluttered appeal.

The 2024 model year Ultra Luxury trim level also introduces the Takanoha wood trim and the new Unflare Trim.

Lexus is also adding a heated steering wheel to the LX 600’s impressive list of standard features starting in 2024, which will appeal to consumers living in colder regions of the country.

The LX 600 F Sport Handling now has a new color option dubbed the Nori Green Pearl, while the Ultra Luxury trim comes standard with Takanoha wood trim.

LX 600 Interior Technology

The 2024 LX 600 pampers its passengers with a leather seat standard in every grade. Ultra Luxury is where everything starts to shine.

The highest version has a Sunflare Brown interior, a second-row captain’s seat that resembles a seat on an airplane, and a smaller touchscreen for people in the back seat.

The same technological elements seen in today’s SUVs will remain in the 2024 LX 600.

This means a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 7-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 10 speakers, Bluetooth, wireless charging pads, satellite radio, navigation, and other goodies will all come standard.

There will be a rear wireless charging pad, a 25-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, and two 11.4-inch display features available.

The standard equipment list includes front collision warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, rear traffic cross warning, parking sensors, surround-view parking camera, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, automatic high beam assistance, and lane guard assistance.
