What’s New for 2024?
The most significant change is the new 14.0-inch touchscreen with Lexus’ latest infotainment system, which includes a much-improved navigation system powered by Google Maps.
The whole system is easy to use with voice commands, and there’s no need to dig into menus to find what you need.
It also allows over-the-air updates so the system can further refine and add features over time.
However, it’s not all that good: several times, it takes more than 60 seconds to respond after starting the RX350—the screen freezes and doesn’t react.
The rest of the cabin will feel familiar to previous Lexus owners regarding vibration and material, but some changes will make the RX more modern.
Among them is a clean center console, which has enough space to accommodate two smartphones and two cupholders.
Because the shifter is small, the area of the center console also feels spacious. The inner door handle is stylishly designed and can be operated by simply pushing it with your thumb.
The material feels soft and premium, from leather upholstery to microsuede on the door panels, and results in a richer overall experience; still, we expect Lexus to make an entirely digital instrument cluster rather than just installing a small 7.0-inch display.
Rear-seat passengers will have enough space to feel comfortable, but they won’t feel like they’re in the living room.
What feels quite relieved is the cargo area which has almost 30 cubic feet of space with seating on top.
For now, the 2023 RX350 is just a two-row SUV; The three-row SUV was offered in the previous generation, but the upcoming new TX will fill that role in the foreseeable future.

The exterior was improved, and the Lexus lowered the large grille, which is deadly for some.
It has a sculpted hood, beautiful 21″ wheels, three-beam headlights, and large angular vents at the front to get air into the engine. The RX features a floating roof design.

The interior is as luxurious as you’d expect in a Lexus. There are soft-touch materials everywhere, and no plastic anywhere I can find.
The seats are sewn, reinforced, comfortable, heated, and cooled.
In front of the driver is a colorful digital measuring cluster with a large speedometer and other gauges. It also shows the current RX gear, a nice touch.
You operate the navigation system, Mark Levinson Sound System, Bluetooth, and car settings from the screen, including changing the driving mode.
The screen also houses a fantastic rear-view camera with extreme clarity and many displays. You also get Wi-Fi, voice recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
The center console has a shifter, an auto-hold button, start/stop deactivation, and two roomy cup holders. There is wireless mobile phone charging and USB and USB-C ports.
The rear seats are very roomy, and passengers can operate their temperature control; they have A/C vents, USB ports, and folding armrests with cup holders.
Lexus RX 350 F Sport Engine
With the change to the new platform, Lexus ditched the V-6 engine — the RX’s long-standing offering — and opted for a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 275 hp of power and 317 lb-ft of torque.
The RX350’s new machine may not be mighty, but it’s acceptable, especially off the line.
The slightly stiffer suspension with the F Sport package delivers a pleasant and comfortable ride.

The 2024 RX350 F Sport is a competitive offering in one of the hottest classes on the market. We expect its price to start at $64,635.
This is also good value for anyone looking to upgrade when comparing feature after feature with SUVs from other automakers.
