2020 Harley Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited – Many allegations filled the air when Harley recently announced a two-day press trip from Minneapolis to Milwaukee over rural roads back in Wisconsin. We climbed a new exciting model (to be announced) all over the country and then arrived at the H-D factory at the weekend of the 115 anniversary celebration.

What is it? New LiveWire electric bike? Perhaps the earliest glimpse of the promised 2020 Pan America Adventure-tourer? More likely it will be the new FXDR 114 Road Cruiser/Musclebike, hailed to be a subtle-handling, minimalist creature that may be right at home on their winding road. Anyway, Harley is shaking things today with new and less traditional options for a changing market – as well as being shaken and stirring by political winds and trade wars. This is an unresolved time, and anything that might happen.

Like the Harley-Davidson Street Glide icon, it’s hard to believe that this model is only 12 years old. In 2006, legendary H-D designer Willie G. Davidson Set the ink to the horse and came out to Street Glide – one of Harley-Davidson’s current top selling models.

Well, there are various subtle improvements on the finish, styling, wheel design, and light technology, but the center is a new “Boom! The large twin thrums along with the soundtrack throaty as your dearest companion, give more than enough strength in the chastises of the throttle-125 ft/lbs of torque at 3500 rpm, in Harley-Davidson said.

Outside of the bump seen in the displacement, Harley-Davidson Engineers Choose High-performance camshafts and high airflow intake. In addition to the more aggressive camshafts and improved airflow, the engineers stepped into a 10.2:1 compression ratio. All said, it has resulted in 12 ft/lbs of increased torque, and it is something you can feel. The 117ci motor is also easily recognizable, as it is the only engine with the Box Blaze Red rocker.

At 877 pounds, the CVO Street Glide did not sound like it would be light on its feet. However, I assure you that. With all of the trained grace of the NFL linebacker, I pruning the road behind-country roads in the Midwest. Thanks to the 64-inch wheelbase and cheap sweep, the motorcycle remains planted in the corner. Surprisingly, Glide roads require little input to get it pointed in the right direction. It’s an easy-to-drive motorcycle, which supports the Harley-Davidson marketing team FACTOID that their tour bike is most popular among new racers, ladies, and H-D owners the first time.

In one word, the ‘ 19 CVO Street Glide Suspension is fancy. The 49mm Showa Dual bending fork Valve moistened almost anything on the road, while double shock with adjustable spring-preload completes the suspenders. In flat usage, the package is not good, although a bit of energy from the mainly weathered parts of the Midwestern asphalt will inevitably be transferred to the rider. At a higher cornering speed, Street Glide did a little wiggle while on the edge of the tires, but I found just dragging the touch of a rigid rear brake over the chassis.

With a seat height of 27.4 inches to be approached, SG is really comfortable. At 5 ‘ 10 “with 32-inch inseam, I feel comfortable. The Riser Bar keeps me in a neutral position, and the floorboards offer a lot of movement when in a long stretched highway. The Milwaukee-Eight engine is narrower than a Twin cam, so while Street Glide is still a prominent motor, it has narrowed considerably. Riders can more easily grow their feet to the ground or extend their boots as outriggers when parking.

Unchanged for the 2019 model year, Street Glide is back with a previous setup of a double four-piston caliper clamp on the 300mm dual rotor ahead. On the back, the one 300mm rotor will continue to help slow down the soft-giants. Feeling in the lever is a progressive and a bit firm – not entirely uncommon for bicycles of this size. The rear brake Pedal can be modulated well, although I still feel that the angle is somewhat steep for easy actuation. Of course, all tour models come with ABS that cannot be adjusted and related braking.

Sure, a full cupboard will give you more space, but with the two saddles you want, you will have plenty of luggage space for a weekend getaway or Interstate distance. As before, one-touch locking mechanism works pretty well. Pockets can be quickly removed without tools, if you need to change flat.

Standard on all Touring and trike models, the biggest change in GTS is the software update that focuses on delivering functionality in line with all of our common touchscreen devices – pinching, dragging, and swiping across the GTS screen to Interact with it, even with the new thanks to Gorilla Glass gloves. Also, the system features a faster loading time over its predecessor and will be ready for use in about ten seconds.

Riders will be able to navigate through the touch screen or through hand control – whichever you want. The Fork mounted Glide Street puts the screen within reach, compared to the range required in Road Glide. Your smartphone can be paired with a bike to receive calls, respond to text, navigate, play music from your device, and just about anything else you might need to do (it won’t mirror the screen). A nifty final update is the tire Pressure monitoring system, which is always useful.

For motorists who have given their faith to Apple decorated brands, you will be glad to hear that CarPlay is now a standard feature. Seamlessly connect Your Apple iPhone and do whatever you helper do.

H-D App has many fun features for owners to explore. In addition, the most sensible addition is the ability to plan a route from your smartphone and send it to your motorcycle navigation system. It eliminates the need to sit with motorcycle information and punch you through the touch screen – you can hang out on the couch and build the perfect route.

Three amplifiers with 75 watts per six BI-amped speaker power lines are found throughout the CVO Street Glide; Two speakers in bag bags, two on the Bar crash, and two in the dash gives you a real surround sound experience. They remain clearly impressive on highway speed.

When it comes to grouping up the joints, the designers who watch the CVO machine know how to solve it. Paints are three-star options on offer – and attention to detail is difficult to match in any brand. If Harley-Davidson does one thing better than their competitors, it’s a turning head, and that’s exactly what you’ll do on 2020 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide.
