2020 Yamaha Sidewinder L-TX GT Review
2020 Yamaha Sidewinder L-TX GT Review – Turbo-enhanced, one-liter trio is unparalleled when it comes to providing incredible strength with refinement and quality that has come to expect from Yamaha. Designed around a premium turbo unit, each engine component from intake to exhaust, is dedicated to producing non-porous performance. The Yamaha Turbo has gained proven respect and reputation worthy of the highest achiever industry. This engine produces a strong poison to knock the side wall of the TX-GT.

Primary and secondary ysrc clutches are calibrated for its permanent and cool operation. It harnesses and transmits the massive torque produced by Turbo Genesis efficiently to the track while minimizing the wear of the engine belt. The fundamental transformations are firmly out to use all the power on the tap while the secondary cylinder is quick-to-back-shift and provides extra ratio through bulky beams. The result is continuous acceleration after others sign.
The side wall of the TX-GT is equipped with Shock Fox QS3 for premium upgrade to this model. Fox’s high-pressure gas shock features a room on the back of the car to provide low fading, exceptional control, and three easy-to-adjust pressure damping performance settings so you can quickly and easily adjust the ride for conditions and ride preferences. A built-in switch automatically turns off the engine whenever the driver is not on the car.
Dual Shock SR 137 Rear suspension is the cumulative result of years of punishment and development in the snooker and cross-country competition. This long suspension of travel provides superior driving comfort with additional possibilities for bridging bridges, flotation and traction. The ride and comfort are enhanced with the hpg center and adjustable Fox QS3 rear shock absorber. The SR 137 is a “paired” suspension that uses a unique “sliding” front arm mount. With up to half an inch of movement in the front arm “open”, the SR 137 system allows for the control of (reducing) the ski during acceleration while still maintaining compliance with the front arm bump.

The new Advanced Roll Suspension Center (Brackets) features a longer, high strength alloy, forged spindle and a lightweight design of upper arms. Engineering is also revised to improve suspension function with increased ground clearance. This leads to greater bites with less rigidity for chassis processing for more predictability and consistency.
The handle bar controls feature a left-hand switch that allows “fly” access to the multi-step hand and the warmer thumb. The information available on the multifunction meter can be easily selected with a convenient switch and the push button reverse gear switch is also located in the left-hand mass. The right side of the tape is clean with a throttle arm on the form of a comfortable and simple switch and stand-alone emergency switch. The updated stealth steamer roller brakes are equipped with a new composite brake arm ‘shorts’ that provides a great adjustment to feel better and stronger performance stops.
The alloy body of the nickel alloy is extremely strong and precise, and able to withstand very high temperatures. Powered by premium, ceramic ball bearings, the blade assembly of Intones turbine is very light and strong. This gives a low moment of stalemate for rapid lightning response to exhaust gas input. Triangular throttle bodies are used exclusively to further enhance the rapid delivery of compressed air from impeller to intake valves.
The Yamaha-Advanced Mitsubishi ECU uses a series of 9 sensors to collect data-state playback that is calculated using a preset memory ‘map’. It then modifies timing of ignition, fuel delivery, multi-pressure air pressure and turbo boost to produce maximum performance under any condition-reliably.
Yamaha wanted this exceptionally fast engine to respond with little or no ‘delay’ as found in the traditional turbo. One of the ways in which their goal is achieved is to develop an intake system using three separate throttle bodies positioned very close to the intake valves. Instead of just feeding one long pipe intake – something not seen in any other turbo production on the planet. The first is for Yamaha with turbo configuration.
Unlike conventional turbo valves ‘knock-off’, the ABV routers and Yamaha air pressure are again coupled with the intake of the compressor to prevent the boom and help maintain the speed impeller, always ready to accelerate next with smooth power delivery.
Yamaha Sidewinder L-TX GT Engine
The engine cooling fluid is distributed through the turbocharger to control the temperature of the protective cover and help to cool the charge. When the engine is turned off, the thermal energy produced by the super heated cooling fluid in the turbo head keeps circulating without pumping the coolant into the process. This eliminates the need for the engine to soothe its role while maintaining high durability in turbo components.
The design of the SRV chassis is designed to focus the mass. About 60% of the weight of skis is concentrated on the main trigonometry. The result is quick handling, well-balanced sledges, and this pleasure to throw around in a wide variety of conditions.

The front suspension SRV engineering is designed in the camber spindle management, which leads to a reduction of bump-steering and maximizing burr acquisition giving the rider confidence in different trail conditions. The arms are mounted at a 30-degree angle from the center line of the skis to efficiently dissipate the impact of the collision throughout the chassis. Proximity, the front-mount shocks directly to the mast leading so that the trail forces are directed to the stronger part of the chassis. A wide-angle spacing reduces the flexibility and strain of the front suspension, which means handling the corner consistent and confident.
Yamaha Sidewinder L-TX GT Chassis
The SRV chassis combines a triangular bearing structure with lightweight aluminum construction to create a balanced neutral focusing on the rider. The hierarchical upper frame creates the chassis without excessive weight.
Escape from wind and cold in the winter with carved, functional windscreen. The small lip at the top skews the wind, snow and over the rider quickly, while the flaming edges provide added warmth and protection to your hands.
The latest version of the Yamaha Ski Tuner is lightweight and designed for precise handling response. A wide range of carbides can be combined to request a tuner to suit any riding style. Multi-color replaceable ski tips are available for additional customization. It is accompanied by a warm convenient DC RCA outlet by taking the direct current power socket mode to higher or charging your devices at one time.
The standard mower seat offers the ultimate warmth and comfort even in the coldest winter days. The simple face of the swivel switch allows you to choose from two warm temperatures allowing you to explore beyond the sun’s curve until sunset in perfect comfort.

The full-featured and easy-to-read digital scale displays important information in a glance including speed, level of fuel, mileage, tech, altitude, temperature and more. Functions are easily changed with the switch controls on the left cursor bar. So we included the clock so you could watch the fly time.
The convenient positioning of the steering wheel makes the switch from reversible to easy with just a push of the thumb. The servo motor turns to the opposite direction with simplicity and consistency. An audible alarm reminds you when it is still in the opposite direction.
As with all Yamaha 4-stroke powered snow, there is no need to pull on a chain to bring the engine to life. Easy electrical start is achieved through a simple joystick mounted, friendly glove, push button switch. Extra storage is provided by a comfortable bag under a new seat. It’s semi-rigid design makes it easy to access and waterproof to keep your parts safe and dry.
