2022 Honda CB1000R Black Edition

2022 Honda CB1000R Black Edition – The new Honda CB1000R has built its reputation on powerful and understated performance combined with the state-of-the-art Neo-Sports Café style. The blackout view is fleeting, but the more you look, the more attention to detail you’ll see.

It’s not just bikes with black tanks: almost every element gets treated—forks, subframes, radiator casings, air box covers, front fenders, wheels, and more. But there are some interesting engine features as well—such as the touch you’ll see on handlebar clamps, swingarm pivot plates, and wheel spokes, all of which give the Black Edition a custom handmade look.

Other enhancements include a new digital instrument display, upholstery cover, under-seat USB port, and new fast drive as well.

CB1000R Black Edition Features

SLIPPER / ASSIST CLUTCH
This innovative design closely links all the power of the CB1000R Black Edition to lift, while still offering a light pull on the clutch lever. In addition, the sandal design helps reduce wheel jumps during aggressive drop and deceleration.

NEW THREE-LEVEL QUICK SHIFTER
The CB1000R Black Edition features a six-speed manual gearbox, but with a major difference: this one comes with a fast derailleur. This means you can raise your gears without a full-power clutch. In addition, the shifter can be adjusted for three levels of shifters: soft, medium, and hard. This is spec-bike racing, made for the streets.

FIVE INCH TFT INSTRUMENT DISPLAY
View the instruments on the CB1000R Black Edition. You get a large, bright, five-inch TFT (Thin Film Transistor) screen that gives you all the information you need while driving.

BREATH BETTER
Compared to previous engine designs in this class, the 2022 CB1000R Black Edition gets higher valve lift, larger valves, larger diameter inlets, and an enhanced combustion chamber shape to improve gas flow and offer better torque in the mid-range.

Faint
From four head pipes to the exhaust end, the CB1000R Black Edition exhaust is a harmonious symphony of black tones. The system not only sounds good but also contributes greatly to the overall look of the motor.

FOUR-TO-ONE EXHAUST
On a bike like this, an exhaust system can make a very important power difference. The four-to-one CB1000R Black Edition system increases torque at 5,000 RPM and above saves 10 pounds and provides the CB1000R Black Edition with deeper, more raw exhaust notes for additional characters.

HONDA SELECTED TORQUE CONTROL
A powerful system that combines the horsepower of the old model CB1000R Black Edition with modern power distribution that keeps the bike connected and power flowing in a variety of surface conditions.

LARGE REAR TYRES
To get all the engine power on the road, the CB1000R Black Edition comes with a 190/55 ZR17 rear tire.

STRONG BRAKES
The front calipers of four radial-mounted dual pistons bite the floating rotor 310mm while the double piston rear caliper presses the rear rotor 256mm. Plus, front and rear ABS is standard.

SINGLE-SIDED SWINGARM
The CB1000R Black Edition features a unique one-sided swingarm. It is part of the excellent motor handling character but also contributes greatly to the appearance of this engine.

SPECIAL TEETH
it features a six-speed near-ratio CB1000R Black Edition 2022 transmission with gears designed to emphasize outstanding motor acceleration. Break the throttle and you’ll feel it instantly.

THROTTLE-BY-WIRE
The CB1000R Black Edition uses a throttle by wire system. four driving modes (Standard, Sports, Rain, and User). The latter lets you choose between three settings for each parameter, and save the settings.

LOW, LIGHT, STRONG
Weighing just 467 pounds, the CB1000R Black Edition is in the welterweight champion class. For an open class of four, there isn’t an ounce of fat here. It not only helps performance, but also contributes to better handling, and makes the bike more fun to drive on the go.

Honda CB1000R Black Edition Style

BLACKOUT STYLE
The CB1000R Black Edition stands out both in terms of performance and appearance. And also not only dipped in black paint that uses special black coating and black anodization on parts such as front suspension, rear subframe, swingarm pivot plate, handlebar clamp, whole exhaust system, and more. You can see in the photo how it looks—and it looks better in person.

ALL-LED LIGHTING PACKAGE
Cb1000R Black Edition features continuous LED lighting. The lights are brighter, more compact, lighter, and have a very long lifespan. And check out the horseshoe-shaped light ring — which brings a modern flair to the traditional style of the bike.

CLASSIC ROUND LIGHTS
The CB1000R Black Edition round-style LED headlights are powerful and bright and set the tone for the bike’s earnest Neo-Sports Café streetfighter presence.

FUEL TANK WITHOUT FLANNEL
built without visible bottom flanges. Granted, it takes a little more effort to make it, but you get a fuel tank with a clean, to-order look that’s worth it. In addition, the tank is slimmer to fit and feels lighter thanks to its unique shape.

SPLASHGUARD REAR
First for Honda, and you see it here. The splashguard/rear fender is attached directly to the swingarm for a touch of fresh and sharp style.

SOLID STYLE
See all steel and aluminum alloy details on this motor. Metal components send a definite message: the CB1000R Black Edition is all business.

TERBAHAR STYLE

CB1000R Black Edition Handling

STEEL SPINE CHAIN
The CB1000R Black Edition features a unique design. The main mono-backbone component is steel, and that joins a separate aluminum fastener pivot plate. You get the basics for excellent handling along with a lightweight design.

SHOWA FRONT SUSPENSION
Great handling and precision steering demand premium front suspension. That’s why the CB1000R Black Edition uses a Showa Separate Function Front Fork Big Piston (SFF-BPS) unit. It offers reduced weight, superior rigidity, and excellent overall performance. In addition, it offers adjustments to spring preload as well as rebound and compression damping.

ABS STANDARD
Front and rear Anti-Lock Braking Systems (standard on the CB1000R Black Edition) can be very helpful in performing controlled stops under less than ideal conditions, such as on wet pavements or other hazardous surfaces.
